Thank you for supporting The Salo Spread! We operate proudly as a permitted Microenterprise Home Kitchen Operation (MEHKO).
To comply with local Environmental Health Department safety regulations and MEHKO operational laws, all food must be prepared, cooked, and served on the exact same day.
Because our dishes are custom made-to-order and cannot be safely held, stored, or resold, all sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or issue refunds.
The Salo Spread Return & Refund Policy
Thank you for shopping with The Salo Spread. Due to the perishable nature of our products and for the health and safety of our customers, we maintain a strict No Return, No Refund policy on all food items.
1. All Sales Are Final
Once a food item has been handed to you, it cannot be returned or exchanged. This includes items that are unopened, as we cannot guarantee they have been stored under proper temperature and sanitary conditions once they leave our care.
2. Exceptions for Damage or Quality
While we do not offer general returns, your satisfaction is important to us. Exceptions may be made in the following cases:

Damaged in Transit: If an item is received with compromised packaging.

Defective or Spoiled: If the product is found to be spoiled or defective upon opening.

Incorrect Item: If you received a product different from what you ordered.
In these instances, please contact us at thesalospread@gmail.com within ONE HOUR of purchase or delivery. We may require photo evidence or the original receipt to process a replacement or store credit.
